Martin Brodeur stopped all 18 shots to lead the New Jersey Devils to a 2-0 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 2 of the first round series.
"For the most part, the defense did a great job. But Marty was counted on tonight to make a lot more big saves than he should have." said Devils coach Larry Robinson. Alexander Mogilny and defenseman Sean O'Donnell scored for the Devils, who took a 2-0 lead in the series. |
