Mike Comrie scored with 2:41 left in first overtime to lift the Edmonton Oilers to a 2-1 victory over the Dallas Stars and a 2-2 tie in the first round series.

"It was awesome," Comrie told the CBC. "We still have a long series left, but it feels great to win."

Anson Carter gave Edmonton 1-0 lead in the second period before Mike Keane scored for Dallas in the third period sending the game in overtime.
