Avs Get Help From OfficialsArchived from 2000-01 season. | |
Milan Hedjuk had a goal and two assists as Colorado beat Los Angeles 4-3 in a game that saw the worst officiating in this year's playoffs.
Both referees made several phantom calls or missed clear violations. The clumsy officiating culminated in the second period when a linesman kicked the puck creating a 2-on-1 which led to Colorado's goal. The Kings outplayed the Avs most of the game and rallied in the third period outshooting Colorado 14-3. The Avs lead the series 2-1. Game 4 is on Wednesday in Los Angeles. |
