Full List Of Trades

The Philadelphia Flyers acquired three-time 40-goal scorer Tony Amonte from the Phoenix Coyotes for two draft picks and a minor leaguer.

In exchange for Amonte, the Coyotes get left wing Guillaume Lefebvre, Philadelphia's second-round draft pick in the 2004 draft and Atlanta's third-round pick this season, which the Flyers got in a trade last season.

"He's not just a scorer. He's got great speed, great hands. He can kill penalties and can be used in the last couple of minutes of a period or a game," Flyers general manager Bob Clarke said. "This is a real top acquisition to our club."

Red Wings Beef Up Blueline
Among a flurry of trades at the NHL's trading deadline on Tuesday, the Detroit Red Wings acquired Mathieu Schneider from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for center Sean Avery, defenseman Maxim Kuznetsov and draft picks.

"I'm very excited to get the chance to win the Stanley Cup. And if there was one team I wanted to go to was the Detroit Red Wings," Schneider said

Oilers Send Carter To Rangers
The Edmonton Oilers gambled big by trading their top scorer Anson Carter along with rookie defenseman Ales Pisa to the New York Rangers for underachieving forward Radek Dvorak and defenseman Cory Cross.

Carter is in the final year of his contract and the Oilers couldn't afford to re-sign him.

Blues Get Osgood
The St. Louis Blues acquired veteran goalie Chris Osgood from the New York Islanders for forward Justin Papineau and a second-round pick in this year's draft.

In another deal hours before Tuesday's trade deadline, the Blues acquired forward Valeri Bure from the Florida Panthers for prospect defenseman Mike Van Ryn.
