Brashear Injures KneeArchived from 2003-04 season. | |
Philadelphia Flyers left wing Donald Brashear injured his knee during practice Tuesday and did not accompany the team to California for the start of its four-game road trip.
The extent of the injury was not known, though he is scheduled to undergo an MRI exam. The Flyers are already short on the left side without John LeClair, who is out with a broken bone in his left foot. In addition, right wing Radovan Somik will have surgery to repair torn knee cartilage Thursday and is expected to be out four to six weeks. The Flyers open their trip Thursday at San Jose. |
