Bolts Strike AgainMay 13, 2004 | |
The Tampa Bay Lightning regained the home-ice advantage in the Eastern Conference finals with a 4-1 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers to take a two games to one lead in the series.
"This building is tough to play in. The fans are always yelling at you," Lightning forward Martin St. Louis said. "But we keep it simple on the road. We don't try to put on a show. We just battle and try to limit the mistakes." "We have to be better than what we were tonight, especially myself," Flyers center Jeremy Roenick said. "It is one game and we can't sit here and feel bad for ourselves." Game Four is Saturday afternoon at Philadelphia. "You have to go on the road to win games if you want to go far in the playoffs," St. Louis said. "You just can't count on your home-ice wins. We have done that. You have to go on the road and perform, and we have." Sharks Fight Back Game 4 is Sunday in Calgary. |
