Lady Byng Memorial Trophy (Most Gentlemanly Player):
Paul Kariya, ANA

Frank J. Selke Trophy (Best Defensive Forward):
Michael Peca, BUF

Hart Memorial Trophy (MVP):
Dominik Hasek

Adams Award (Coach):
Ted Nolan, BUF

King Clancy Trophy (Sportmanship):
Trevor Linden, VAN

Masterton Trophy (Comeback of the Year):
Tony Granato, SJS

William Jennings Trophy (Best Team GAA):
Martin Brodeur and Mike Dunham, NJ

League also announced the first All-Star Team 1997:

Earlier Dominik Hasek was announced by NHLPA the winner of the Pearson Trophy, voted by all players.
