Outlook:
Detroit wants to regain the Cup glory and they just might have the weapons to do it. Los Angeles is one of the most improved teams this season, but late injuries are hurting.

Detroit has a ton of experience and coach who know how to use it. They have four strong lines and a solid defense and the Red Wings are hungry having missed out last year.

Los Angeles will get Ziggy Palffy back for the series, but he has been out for a month. They will miss second-line center Bryan Smolinski. The Kings goaltending has been shaky and they will need superior performance from Stephane Fiset, if they are going to have any chances. Los Angeles has to stay out of the penalty box as much as possible.
