Evgeny Nabokov made 22 saves, and Patrick Marleau had a goal and an assist as the San Jose Sharks advanced into the Western Conference semifinals with a 4-1 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes.

"Everyone's still hungry in here. That's why there's no partying," captain Owen Nolan said. "We're going to be able to rest up for at least another day while the other teams are playing. That's why you strive so hard to finish quickly."

Adam Graves, Vincent Damphousse and Marco Sturm also scored for the Sharks, who won the best-of-seven series 4-1.
