Outlook:
This series pits the Devils' defense against the Maple Leaf's offense. Devils are full of confidence after shutting down Pavel Bure and the Panthers. However, Toronto is much bigger and stronger team and they have proven they can score against New Jersey.

Scott Stevens will lead New Jersey defense against Toronto's top line of Sundin-Thomas-Hoglund, but the Leafs have other good lines too. On the other hand the Devils' offense is not second-rated either, but they will have to get more out of Jason Arnott, Patrick Elias and Petr Sykora.

Prediction:
Leafs in seven.
